MANILA, Philippines - Goodyear Philippines hits the road with the launch of its first nationwide roadshow, Goodyear Pa Rin! at SM Mall of Asia. The roadshow highlights Goodyear’s long history of safety innovation, superior products and various advocacy campaigns through the years.
From this kick-off event, the show will go to other SM malls in Batangas, Pampanga, Cebu and Davao. It was an exciting first day as people were drawn to the photo booth where guests can wear a racing suit and pose as a racer. There were also other cars on display plus the highlights of Goodyear’s Bayani ng Kalsada search, Women with Drive program and Goodyear’s own history of over a hundred years. The public also got to take a fully-fitted Ford Focus TDCI for a spin through the Ride and Drive experience with the Tuason Racing School.
Goodyear Pa Rin! reintroduces the legendary tire giant to Filipinos nationwide. “We are excited about this opportunity to work closely with our partner-dealers and top racing endorsers and bring the best Goodyear products and exceptional Goodyear retail experience straight to our customers and the public,” said Goodyear Philippines president Dave Morin.
Goodyear has relentlessly set industry benchmarks and constantly innovated on tire products that are safe and reliable. Just in the past two years alone, Goodyear launched six products ranging from high-performance, off-road, and luxury cars to small passenger vehicles. These include the Wrangler High Performance All-Weather tire with SmartTRED design for sport utility vehicles (SUVs); Wrangler with SilentArmorTM Technology for 4X4 cars; Excellence with 3-Zone technology for luxury sedans; Eagle F1 Asymmetric for high-performance sports cars; Assurance with ArmorGrip technology for mid-sized passenger cars; and its most recent addition, the DuraPlus with Tredlife technology for small passenger vehicles.
Tire technologies by Goodyear has ensured safety and high performance through its signature innovations. But Goodyear consumer and racing products are not the only highlights of the roadshow. Safety driving techniques through free lectures and one-on-one, hands on driving sessions will be conducted by the Tuason Racing School.
Women drivers also get the opportunity to benefit from Women with Drive, an advocacy campaign that aims to empower women by educating them with basic auto maintenance and troubleshooting skills. During the roadshow the Women with Drive advocacy will be accessible to the public and the country’s top racers and Goodyear endorsers will conduct lessons on road safety and everything a woman needs to know about her car including engine, fluids, electrics, belts, hoses, wipers, under body and, of course, tires.
