The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited chairman Sir Michael Kadoorie, accompanied by his wife Lady Betty Kadoorie, recently visited the Peninsula Manila Hotel and was, of course, greatly pleased with the performance of the entire staff led by the lovely and efficient general manager Sonja Vodusek. It was not so much that Mr. Kadoorie was present but the staff perfectly provided a most satisfying experience when it came to the quality of the cuisine for the regular clients and friends who attended the party for the genial and dapper gentleman whose family-owned company operates the world-renowned Peninsula Hotel Group. The Peninsula Manila Hotel is indeed equal to the best of the best when it comes to international five-star hotels. Cheers to all and well done to a most efficient hotel staff!
