Making a difference through a beautiful advocacy
Continuously creating a difference in the lives of many Filipino communities across the country are well-known philanthropist, Gawad Kalinga founder Tony Meloto, his benevolent daughter Human Nature president and co-founder Anna Meloto-Wilk, and his gracious son-in-law, Human Nature co-founder Dylan Wilk, a young, wealthy, British socialite who gave up the comforts of luxury to come to the Philippines to help support the noteworthy projects of the organization. Recently, they decided to focus on helping the passion fruit farming community of Gawad Kalinga Village Pueblo Antonio, Catigan, Davao Del Sur. To realize this admirable cause, Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. (GKI) through its Human Nature brand partnered with Miss Earth and Beauty Bar in launching its CommPassion lipstick campaign at the exquisite Society Lounge in Makati. The worthwhile event had guests discovering the brand’s newest products such as the Passion Fruit Hydrating Mineral lipstick where 100% of all profits from its sales will be donated to the said farming community in Mindanao. Congratulations and more power to your advocacy!
Celebrating a healthy partnership
Working towards providing excellent healthcare services is the Makati Medical Center (MakatiMed) in partnership with the country’s leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) companies. To further enrich their common goals, a colorful celebration was recently held at the MakatiMed Tower 2 where MakatiMed president and chief executive officer Rose Montenegro welcomed guests and thanked them for their contributions to the hospital’s performance during the past year. It was also the perfect moment to share the ongoing efforts to facilitate HMO transactions in the hospital and to recognize their excellent efforts as well. Thank you, MakatiMed and its HMO partners for uplifting the quality of healthcare services in the country by making it accessible to many people!
