Argentinian couple Hernan and Candeleria Zapp, together with their four children, has been on the road for over 10 years now, traversing the globe and having visited several countries including Australia, Alaska, New Zealand, Canada, South Korea, Japan, and recently, the Philippines. The Zapp family arrived in the Philippines in late November last year and completed their journey across the islands in late January.
His family, Hernan said, has already chomped on balut and has fallen in love with adobo. “Your country is breathtakingly beautiful! We enjoyed the fresh, mountain breeze in Banaue and Baguio, and the majestic beaches in Batangas and Boracay!” he exclaimed. “It was reassuring for me and my family to know that even when we were traveling on the back roads, we could easily find a Petron station to rest and fuel up.”
