MANILA, Philippines - Mobile technology is changing the way Filipinos go about their daily grind and this includes the way they perform banking transactions. With smartphones now functioning as business tools and as mobile internet use becomes even more pervasive, more banks are offering banking transactions through mobile applications.
Recognizing the growing need for virtual banking convenience, the Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) introduced a mobile banking platform that combines the real-time experience of online banking with mobile accessibility.
“We are happy to share that the PSBank Online Mobile App is now available to provide our customers access to our products and services anytime, anywhere through their mobile phones and tablets,” PSBank president Vicente R. Cuna Jr. said.
Using the PSBank mobile app, customers can settle utility bills and reload prepaid credits to their mobile phones aside from being able to monitor their bank accounts, transfer funds, view paid checks, reorder checkbooks, and reload their PSBank Prepaid MasterCard.
They can even freeze or block their ATM card in case of loss or theft.
Besides mobility, the mobile app offers the same reliability and efficiency as online banking transactions, while maintaining strict security measures.
For instance, every transaction is recorded, thus eliminating the need to keep transaction slips and receipts. Real-time SMS updates on all online transactions will also be sent to them via Mobile Alert.
“We hope that the mobile app will make banking with PSBank an even simpler and more reliable experience. We always keep our customers’ convenience in mind by ensuring the consistent delivery of ‘best in class’ services,” Cuna added.
The PSBank Online Mobile App is now available on iTunes and Android Play Store and will be available soon for other operating systems such as Blackberry and Windows.
