Security Bank holds economic forum

MANILA, Philippines - The Security Bank Corp. (Security Bank) is holding its second economic forum entitled “Perspectives on the Philippine Economy: Challenges and Opportunities Amidst Turbulent Times” on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Keynote speaker is Dr. Jay H. Bryson, Phd, managing director and global economist at Wells Fargo Securities, who flew in from the US to present an analysis on financial markets and macroeconomic developments in the major economies of the world. Bryson has published articles in academic and popular economic journals and his comments have regularly appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today. Other speakers includes Hubert D’Aboville, president of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, to present the foreign investors’ perspective and Antonio Jose Periquet, economist and former country strategist of Deutsche Regis Partners, who will share insights from the business sector. David Celdran of TV Anchor of ANC News Channel is guest host who will also moderate the open forum after the presentations.
