SMEs tap BPI Family Savings Bank

MANILA, Philippines - BPI Family Savings Bank, through its Ka-Negosyo business program, recently honored MyClick Technologies Inc., a software provider company catering to the small businesses in the country, as the bank’s first Ka-Negosyo client booked online.

MyClick Technologies president and owner Melchor Yuson aims to have a good share in the country’s information technology (IT) industry and further serve the country’s small businesses through his company.

“We are catering to small businesses who need a partner that will guide them through their business journey,” Yuson said.

Like his clients, Yuson found a reliable financial partner for his business growth in BPI Family Ka-Negosyo.

“BPI Family aims to empower the MSME (micro, small and medium enterprise) sector with our enhanced business products and services,” Jose Teodoro “TG” Limcaoco, president of BPI Family Savings Bank, said.

Early this year, BPI Family launched its website, www.bpiloans.com, which provides solutions and tools for the needs of Filipino entrepreneurs.

The Ka-Negosyo website is a one-stop shop of business tools for the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, providing a wide array of features such as advertisement section, tips and testimonials, business directory, loan assessment tool, loan calculator, easy online loan application, and links to government application business forms.

There are a lot of entrepreneurs that need financing for their business.

However, most businesses do not opt for a loan because of fear of rejection.

Most are afraid of rejection because of many reasons, like the business is too small, and not enough collateral.

Through the online assessment tools and application of BPI Family Savings Bank, entrepreneurs are able to determine the loan capacity without other people looking on us.

“There’s no room for embarrassment because you know it’s just between you and the virtual web. I felt confident when I passed the Ka-Negosyo online assessment quiz and it encouraged me to pursue my loan application. It was even more convenient as I was able to skip the line in the bank and easily submit my application and loan requirements through the website’s online application form,” Yuson added.
