Training courses for RBs

MANILA, Philippines – The Rural Bankers Association (RBAP), through its training arm the Rural Bankers Research and Development Foundation Inc. (RBRDFI) will run monthly trainings and seminars through the Federations.

These seminars are: corporate governance and risk management for directors; basic course on property appraisal; signature verification, forgery detection and money counterfeiting; AMLA reporting procedures and regulatory updates; and, compliance officers’ development workshop.

As part of the continuing strategy to strengthen the rural banking industry, confederations and federations are encouraged to sponsor the trainings in their respective localities.

RBRDFI will shoulder the fees for resource persons all other expenses such as transportation and food. “Our available schedules are open beginning September 2010 to April 2011 on a first-come-first-served basis,” RBAP president Ma. Corazon L. Miller said.
