MANILA, Philippines - Business Week has named Spanish financial giant Mapfre as among the World’s Best Companies in 2009.
Global consulting firm A.T. Kearney, which compiled the study published by the US magazine, highlighted Mapfre’s wide range of products and extensive technological developments as two of its main competitive advantages that facilitated its current status in the global economy.
It hailed the “wise internationalization” strategy of Mapfre in Latin America and its expansion in various markets, including the US, Turkey, and Asia.
