Alaminos City represented by Mayor Hernani Braganza won in the Cluster 1-CRM pioneering cluster, besting the towns of Bolinao and Anda. The town of Bani which also falls under this cluster was no longer included in the search as it was already in the Hall of Fame for consistently winning the search.
Alaminos got an Information, Education and Communication Package sponsored by the Sagip Lingayen Project
The municipality of Dasol represented by Mayor Angelita Jimenez won a one-hectare seaweed production sponsored by Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office 1 after it bested under Cluster II CFM Expansion Cluster towns like Burgos, Infanta, and Agno.
The municipality of Labrador under Mayor Ernesto Acain got a four-hectare mangrove reforestation project cum nursery courtesy of Mirant Philippines after it defeated Sual, Lingayen, Binmaley and San Fabian in the Cluster III CRM Developing Cluster.
Special awards also went to the municipality of Burgos under Mayor Domingo Doctor as best municipality in foreshore and shoreline management with cash prize of P50,000 courtesy of San Roque Power Corporation (SRPC).
The town of Anda under Mayor Nestor Pulido got the best municipality in community-based mangrove project development and management with P50,000 cash prize also from SRPC.
Barangay Bued, Alaminos won the most improved barangay in mangrove reforestation project with P10,000 while Barangay Lucero, Bolinao got the model coastal barangay in Solid Waste Management with P10,000 both from SRPC.
