Direct foreign participants include those from the US, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlnads, China, Taiwan, Israel, Iran, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
On the other hand, foreign principals represented by their local subsidiaries or distributors include those from Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Korea and Malaysia, among others.
Together with local corporate giants and entrepreneurs, these exhibitors are poised to post the country’s biggest assembly of modern products and technologies, some of which will be tackled in detail at the seminars.
For Oct. 10, seminar topics are Biotechnology for Maximizing Agricultural Productivity, Use of PBM as Fishmeal Replacement in Shrimp and Other Aquafeeds, to be discussed by the National Renderers Association; Application of Ultrasound in Modern Swine Production and Practical Feeding Practices for Replacement Gilts and the Gestating Sow, by the Illinois Department of Agriculture and USLGE Swine Trade Mission; and Immunosuppression Caused by Mycotoxins, and the Solutions, by Agrimacte, Inc.
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. of Oct. 11, The Infarmco Group will present Wind and Water Utilization: The Infarmco Experience, which involves optimum climate control in productivity through tunnel ventilation, and maximum resource recovery via an effective and efficient wastewater treatment system.
At the same time, the AgriSpecialist Inc. will tackle the Recent Developments in Swine Manure Management.
Subsequently, Vemaval Inc./Hokovit will discuss Influence of Today’s Environment on the Immune System of Intensively Reared Pigs, while the Jeida Farm Supply Corp. will conduct an open forum on Swine Artificial Insemination.
Feed Ingredients for Swine Diets and Establishing an Effective Genetic Improvement Program for Swine will also be presented by the Illinois Department of Agriclture and USLGE Swine Trade Mission.
For Oct. 12, the topics are Product Packaging, by the Technology and Livelihood Resource Center; Grouper Culture in Net Cages, by the Santeh Feeds Corp.; Management and Nutrition of the Piglet by, by Cledacor Enterprises; Income for Life Through Mango Farming, by Good Harvest Orchards Marketing Corp.; and Modern Biotechnology and DA Commercialization Guidelines, by the Foreign Agricultural Service of the US Department of Agriculture.
