A manufacturer of quality livestock feeds has attained such global competitiveness that it is looking at the "big possibility" of competing in foreign markets.
"Our (feed) products are highly exceptional and competitive to meet global standards and foreign competition," said sales manager David Co of Grains Handlers Philippines Inc. (GHPI), maker of Famous, Mighty, Rich, Mama 80, and Ninja feed brands.
Citing the challenge to become a global leader in the feed industry, Co revealed GHPIs efforts to get an ISO certification. "This will assure our customers that our products meet the strictest international standard of excellence," Co added.
GHPI has been helping improve the livestock industry by producing quality feeds through the use of state-of-the-art facilities, advance technology, and continuous research in product development.
The company boasts of highly-competent and committed veterinarians whom it considers the best in their field.
Moreover, GHPIs products are also price competitive, gaining patrons even among backyard farmers, and small and medium commercial farms, which the company also provides with free veterinary and technical assistance.
Vaunted to be farm tested and cost effective, GHPIs products will be exhibited at the Agrilink 2002 and Foodlink 2002, the countrys biggest and most prestigious international agribusiness and food trade show.
The twin events are slated at the World Trade Center Metro Manila on Oct. 10-12, and will line up GHPIs products with the worlds best.
Organized by the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development (FRLD), the annual trade show has been helping GHPI and other agribusiness and food firms promote their products locally and globally, while updating them on the latest development and innovations in their respective fields.
Details on Agrilink and Foodlink can be obtained from the FRLD (tel. 8384549, 8384852; fax 8384573, or email frld@info.com.ph).
Through Agrilink and Foodlink, GHPI and other companies also develop linkages with their target market and prospective partners for possible marketing tie-ups, joint ventures and other business activities locally and abroad.
The trade show is supported by the Department of Agriculture, National Agriculture and Fishery Council, and 30 local industry associations.
Foreign participants in last years show included companies from the US, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Italy, Israel, United Kimgdon, Belgium, France, Malaysia and other Asia Pacific countries.
