MANILA, Philippines — Netplates Corp., owner of La Parillada Restaurant, has launched a catering business with world-renowned chef Pablo “Boy” Logro at the helm.

The new venture, Netplates Catering by Chef Boy Logro, is part of the company’s rebranding efforts, according to Netplates marketing and business development manager Pinky Camacho.

“We’re investing P200 million in the restaurant and catering operations over the next three years,” Camacho said. “We aim to open 20 La Parillada branches and simultaneously expand our catering services.”

La Parillada is an American-Mexican inspired restaurant with two operating outlets located in Gateway Mall Cubao and at the Royal Place Arcade along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

Logro, a veteran of the food industry with over four decades of experience, will serve as both the business overseer and the brand’s endorser. “We believe Chef Logro’s name and expertise will significantly boost Netplates Catering’s appeal,” Camacho said.

Customers can expect world-class cuisine featuring Logro’s signature dishes, Camacho said. “Every dish reflects his culinary vision and provides a top-tier dining experience.”

The catering service targets corporate clients, event planners, wedding couples, food enthusiasts, community groups and high-end customers. “We focus on understanding and fulfilling client needs, providing professional and high-quality service,” Camacho said.

Netplates has refurbished its Quezon City kitchen to serve as headquarters and commissary.

Logro outlined five key points for his catering clients: understanding client needs and the venue, suggesting appropriate menus and service styles, adhering to world-class standards in preparation and transportation, creating impressive service area setups and providing proper staff training and management.

Netplates is part of a conglomerate with interests in service contracting, business outsourcing, management services, security services, construction, cloud kitchens, restaurant information technology and financial services.
