CGBP training program on tax rights, remedies

MANILA, Philippines — The Center for Global Best Practices will host a special online training titled “Tax Rights and Remedies for SMEs and Large Taxpayers” on April 18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. via Zoom.

This solutions-oriented program will teach everything needed to know on how to handle Bureau of Internal Revenue tax audits – from their different tax audit programs to their basis of assessment and processes. Learn how to deal fairly and squarely with the tax authorities based on the latest tax rulings of the Supreme Court and Court of Tax Appeals. This comprehensive training will show the best practices to help address most pressing tax problems – from an administrative, judicial, procedural and substantive perspective – to protect businesses.

Learn all this from tax guru and expert tax practitioner, Atty. Nicasio Cabaneiro, who is a partner-in-charge of the tax programs at the CGBP. He is a recognized authority in the practice of taxation and commercial law. He has over 50 years of teaching experience, and spent 25 years with the Bank of Philippine Islands – capping his career as its vice-president and head of the legal services division.
