GAD compliance training on Safe Spaces Act

MANILA, Philippines — The Center for Global Best Practices will hold an online training program titled GAD Training Compliance: The Law and IRR of the Safe Spaces Act on April 1 via Zoom.

The program will discuss all aspects of RA 11313 and its IRR, including actions punishable under this law, liabilities of individuals and institutions, development of a code of conduct, investigation mechanisms, preventive measures, remedies and valuable advice to keep you and your people protected as envisioned in this law.

Those in the public sector are mandated to align their HR policies and code of conduct and to implement RA 11313 in all government institutions. This is applicable to national government agencies, government instrumentalities, GOCCs, SUCs LUCs, government financial institutions, and LGUs.

This training will feature lawyer Dot Gancayco. She is a multi-awarded socio civic and media person being a TV/radio host of the multi-awarded public Service show “Serbisyong Kasambahay, and legal consultant to different radio and TV shows. She is a writer at The Philippine Star; professor of law; president of Celebrity Sports Club, co-founder and past president of the Association of the Congressional Chiefs of ­Staff.
