MANILA, Philippines — Kia Philippines has opened a new dealership in Quezon City, the first of its planned four new dealerships this year to reach more customers.
In a statement, Kia Philippines said the dealership located in North Fairview subdivision along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City is open to serve residents of the area, as well as those from nearby communities.
Kia Fairview is owned and operated by the ANC+Group of Companies.
Apart from a vehicle showcase lobby, the new dealership has service bays for after-sales requirements, as well as a lounge for clients.
“The opening of Kia Fairview signals the further expansion of the Kia brand at strategic locations nationwide,” Kia Philippines president Manny Aligada said.
“It is a clear testament that Kia is here to serve more Filipinos and surprise continuously with our stylish and quality products and after-sales initiatives,” he added.
Kia Philippines earlier announced it was expanding its dealership network in the country to 34 even with the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
New dealerships are set to rise in Marikina, Isabela and Bonifacio Global City.
While the COVID-19 crisis has affected demand for vehicles, Kia Philippines is expanding its dealership network as it sees opportunities for some segments of the automotive industry particularly for affordable models and commercial vehicles.
Kia Philippines aims to sell 4,000 vehicles this year, 20 percent lower than the 5,019 units sold in 2019.
