MANILA, Philippines — Publicly listed Jolliville Holdings Corp. (JOH) has expanded its water facility project in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro with 1,500-cubic meter water reservoir going onstream last week.
JOH chairman Jolly Ting said the water reservoir will be operated by its subsidiary Calapan Water.
He said the reservoir will address the ever increasing demand from residential and commercial establishments in Calapan City, considered as the commercial hub of MIMAROPA.
Ting said Calapan Water is servicing 15,000 households and commercial establishments and is projected to reach 28,000 consumers by 2018.“This water reservoir which can hold 1.5 million liters of water will add water pressure and volume to household and commercial establishments in Calapan City,” said Ting.
He said this new addition to the series of the water company’s infrastructure buildup is part of its 10-year, P400-million development plan which involve tapping of new water sources, reservoirs and pipelining for distribution of safe water from sources to its consumers, households and business establishments.
JOH is a diversified conglomerate with business interests in various industries that include real estate, power generation, water distribution, management, leisure and business process outsourcing.
