Globe partners with PTAA for travel tour expo

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom Inc. has partnered with the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) for the upcoming 23rd Travel Tour Expo as part of efforts to better serve the growing number of Filipinos travelling abroad.

In a statement, Globe said it would showcase Roam Surf which offers 24 hours of unlimited data roaming service and enables Internet connectivity from over 80 countries around the world for its postpaid and prepaid customers during the event to be held from Feb. 5 to 7 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The expo, considered to be the biggest event for the travel and tourism industry, is organized by the PTAA with the Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board.

The event is expected to gather over 300 exhibitors targeting travel and tourism trade practitioners, corporate and business travellers, holiday travellers, incentive and convention planners, government and business leaders, as well as direct buyers and investors.

Through the partnership, Globe hopes to take advantage of opportunities offered by Filipinos travelling abroad.
