MANILA, Philippines - Business opportunities, success tips, trade secrets, joint ventures and public-private partnership prospects, and the future of the entire housing and urban development industry are all poised to surface in a fun-filled and exciting fashion at the grand national convention of the country’s largest organization of key real estate industry players.
This announcement came from national convention chairman Florante C. Ofrecio of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Associations (Creba), whose members nationwide were scheduled to converge in SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City on Oct. 7 for a three-day event.
Ofrecio said convention theme A Home for Every Filipino: The Dream Goes On indicates Creba’s vision for both market and industry, eliciting support from government and business icons who are gracing the event as guests of honor.
Aside from the Creba members who will also have a half-day business matching session on Oct. 7, invited to the event are Senate committee on urban development, housing and resettlement chairman Sen. Joseph Victor G. Ejercito, who will speak on making a home for every Filipino a reality; and House committee on housing and urban development chairman Rep. Alfredo B. Benitez on the 2030 vision for the housing and real estate industry.
Invited to deliver the keynote address on Oct. 9 is Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. There will also be open forums, presentation and approval of convention resolutions, chapters’ night, gala and recognition Night, and optional tours.
The convention is also expected to rally support for Creba’s five-point agenda in addressing the country’s 5.5-million housing backlog while attaining a sustainable industry growth, both as important factors in national development.
