MANILA, Philippines - Cebu Pacific took delivery of its 31st brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft yesterday, as part of its fleet expansion program. This is the second of four Airbus A320 aircraft that the airline is set to receive this year.
With this delivery, CEB now operates a fleet of 54 aircraft comprised of 10 Airbus A319, 31 Airbus A320, five Airbus A330 and eight ATR-72 500 aircraft.
The average age of CEB’s aircraft fleet is 4.34 years, one of the youngest in the world. Between 2015 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of seven more brand-new Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and one Airbus A330 aircraft.
“For the next six years, we have orders for 35 more Airbus aircraft. We continue to invest heavily in new planes to expand existing services and open new routes here and abroad,” said Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution.
