MANILA, Philippines - The peso rallied against the dollar midday Monday, settling at 44.861 from the previous day's 44.95.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $246.2 million in the morning, lower than the $483.3 million posted the same period on Friday.
The peso opened the week at 44.88.
