Novel mktg scheme buoys Lancaster New City

MANILA, Philippines - Lancaster New City made its mark in the real estate business recently by opening its doors to people and being dubbed the official home of the ABS-CBN romantic reality TV show “I Do” where Kring Elenzano and Jimmy Kim emerged as the winning couple. “I Do” featured the amenities and perks that Lancaster New City has to offer like beautiful spacious homes, prime location, convenience, safety, security, quality and affordability. All these make it a good investment for families who are in search of a new home.

“We enjoyed our stay in Lancaster New City,” said Kring Elenzano, a marketing executive and University of Santo Tomas communication arts graduate, who finally married her beau Jimmy Kim last Nov. 12. It was a good finale for Elenzano and Kim as their grand wedding was one of their prizes for winning the first prize in “I Do” that recently aired on and held in the “I Do” Village in Lancaster New City. They also won a brand new house and lot in Lancaster New City from PRO-Friends, P1-million cash prize from ABS-CBN and a store franchise.

“I am a believer in true love. I’m also optimistic that it can wait until you meet the right person.  I am very happy and grateful I had the opportunity to meet Jimmy in my life because he is my first boyfriend and true love,” said the beaming Elenzano during the interview.

The newly-wed couple admitted their schedule is so hectic after winning the contest that they haven’t attended to their marketing business and other major details of their new family life. “We’re so busy these days but we don’t have complaints because this is part of the show,” said Elenzano.

Kim said winning the contest was not really expected as he and Elenzano did not get impressive scores from the judges in the earlier rounds. Elenzano said their confidence level went down when they met the other participants who they considered had greater chemistry. In the first elimination round, Kim and Elenzano were at the bottom. He said the challenges were tougher than they thought of compared to the personal ones which included him of possibly getting the broom so to speak.

“I think catching a duck was more challenging than bringing up the separation of my parents when I was 11 years old. I am not really good in handling chickens and ducks because I am afraid of them,” he chuckled.

It was the best strategy for Kim and Elenzano to survive on a weekly basis because the couple thought it was traumatic being in the cellar.

Kim and Elenzano recalled it was a memorable win as they have trailed in most of the contests. “In fact, we were the last in the negosyo challenge because we were late by two hours.
