Seminar set on handmade organic soap

MANILA, Philippines - Learn how to make home made soap from herbs, fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one day seminar on organic herbal soap making to be held at the College of Social Work and Community Development, Magsaysay Ave. cor. Ylanan St. University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The day long seminar will include a hands-on experience on how to make milk and oat soap from goat’s milk and coconut, green papaya soap, oatmeal soap,  kalamansi with gluta soap, transparent soap with vitamin E, chunked transparent soap with different colours and designs, layered and embedded transparent soap, glycerine soap with fresh fruits, herbs and flower extract, soap scrub tulad ng chocolate soap, pumice soap, luffa soap  and many more. There will also be bonus courses on how to make body wash, bubble bath, massage cream, bath salt, massage oil, oils for burner, bath fizzers, and how to make dog shampoo as added bonus.  

Also to be discussed are sourcing of materials, costing and marketing strategies. Each participant will be given a certificate of training right after the seminar. Lunch, snacks, hand-outs and all the raw materials for hands-on experience will be provided.
