MANILA, Philippines - The Metro Retail Stores Group recently unveiled its newest hypermarket, Super Metro Antipolo, located along P. Oliveros St. in Barangay de la Paz, with a grand opening led by the first lady of Antipolo, Andeng Ynares. Several Antipolo officials, entrepreneurs and personalities attended the opening rites.
Super Metro Antipolo opened its doors to the thousands of Antipoleños who were delighted with this new concept retail store right in their community. Super Metro Antipolo is a one-stop community store carrying products composed of both food and general merchandise. It offers shoppers a wider choice of goods with super finds, super prices and super shopping.
Giving more emphasis on quick and easy shopping and providing access to affordable goods, Super Metro reaches out to more local communities, such as Antipolo, and delivers them with a super selection of food and general merchandise, all in a one-stop shop concept.
Super Metro Antipolo also features ancillary stores to cater to the needs of shoppers. Among the anchor outlets are the company’s very own Suisse Cottage Bakeshop and Metro Pharmacy. Super Metro Antipolo also offers services such as express bills payment centers and the soon-to-be-opened foreign exchange facilities.

For her part, Antipolo City First Lady Andeng Ynares thanked the management of Metro for choosing the city as it helped the Antipoleños by way of providing local employment.
Super Metro hypermarkets are also located at Bogo Cebu, Talisay City in Negros Occidental, Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu, Mambaling in Basak, Cebu, Anonas Quezon City, Lucena City in Quezon Province, Colon Cebu, Toledo City in Cebu, Maasin Leyte and Naga in Cebu City; and soon-to-open this November in Carcar, Cebu.
