MANILA, Philippines - The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program (GTSDP) will conduct a one day seminar on cake baking and bread making at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Center, Pasay City on Oct. 5, from 10 am to 6 pm. The day-long seminar will have an actual demo, food tasting and hands-on experience on how to make pineapple upside down cake, revel bar, Boston cream pie cake, savoury chicken pie, banana bread, muffins, chocolate cake, butterscotch bars, banana chocolate oatmeal chip cookies, chiffon cake, butter cake, mocha cake, custard cake, brazo de mercedez, egg pie, carrot pineapple cake, food for the god’s, fruit cake, sans rival, egg tart, floss bread, pandesal, cheese bread, donut, siopao, empanada, dinner roll, cinnamon bun, monay, tasty bread, pizza bread, oreo cheesecake and new york cheese cake. And there will also be a bonus course on how to make decorated cupcakes, fondant cake with gum paste design and basic cake decorating. Also to be discussed are sourcing of materials, costing, and step by step guidelines on how to venture into baking business.
