MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - Shares closed 0.84 percent lower today.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index lost 61.27 points to 7,253.67. The all-share index also declined by 38.05 points, or 0.88 percent, to 4,280.81.
Trading volume reached 1.55 billion shares worth P8.62 billion ($198.06 million).
There were 62 gainers, 117 losers while 47 stocks closed flat.
