MANILA, Philippines - The peso improved against the dollar on Monday, closing at 43.725 from the previous day's 43.77.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $512.4 million, lower than the $883.7 million posted on Friday.
The peso opened the week at 43.73.
