MANILA, Philippines - The peso dropped against the dollar on Tuesday, closing at 43.657 from the previous day's 43.585.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $436.2 million, lower than the $636.9 million posted on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 43.64.
