MANILA, Philippines - Entrepreneurs can now register their businesses' names through the Business Service Centers of Consumer Welfare Desks in 25 SM malls in Luzon, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced on Tuesday.
â€Partnering with SM makes it more accessible and convenient for applicants to register their business names,†the state agency said.
DTI Undersecretary for Regional Operations Group Zenaida Maglaya and SM Mart Inc. Executive Vice President Ricky Lim signed the memorandum of agreement, which will allow business name registrations in SM malls in Metro Manila including including Aura, BF Homes Parañaque, Bicutan, Cubao, Fairview, Harrison, San Lazaro, Makati, Mall of Asia, Manila, Marikina, Megamall, North EDSA, Novaliches, Southmall, Sta. Mesa, Sucat, and Quiapo, SM Marilao in Bulacan, and those in Region 4-A such as Bacoor, Calamba, Dasmariñas, Masinag, Sta. Rosa and Taytay.
â€Today, DTI has adopted a cloud-based facility and e-payment in partnership with Globe’s G-Cash and Bancnet services, and is now being actively promoted coupled with the revitalized partnership between DTI and SM Malls," DTI noted.
