MANILA, Philippines - The peso slipped against the dollar on Tuesday after closing weaker at 45.065 from the previous day's 44.975.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $778.4 million, higher than the $418.9 million posted on Monday.
The peso opened on Tuesday at 44.95.
