MANILA, Philippines - Real estate educator Ernesto M. Angeles has been named president of National Real Estate Association (NREA) Center for Real Estate Studies (N-CRES), NREA chairman emeritus Jose V. Manalad announced. Angeles, a certified public accountant is also NREA trustee and treasurer.
Realty appraiser and consultant Rodolfo D. Leonen, NREA trustee, was named N-CRES executive director vice Angeles, while Baguio chapter vice president Ma. Lourdes S. Deiparine was appointed program director vice Leonen. Edgardo Espejo, also Baguio chapter officer was appointed deputy program director vice Deiparine.
N-CRES is the formal education arm of the National Real Estate Association, Inc., composed primarily of realty brokers and salespersons; other members includes professionals like appraisers, consultants, architects, environmental planners; engineers and builders, developers and all allied services in housing development.
N-CRES aims to promote the professionalization of real estate practice by bringing developmental progress from the capital region to the countryside centers. Part of N-CRES program are to conduct business conferences and trade exhibits; CPE seminars for brokers and salespersons in various regions in compliance with the mandate of the Real Estate Service Act (RESA Law) 9646.
N-CRES will be conducting seminars in Baguio-CAR, La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Bicol, Mindoro, Palawan, Cebu, Negros; Cagayan de Oro-North Mindanao; Davao. National Capital Region primarily Quezon City, Makati, Paranaque and Manila.
