MANILA, Philippines - BLIMS Fine Furniture will hold a six-day special furniture sale on May 16 to 21 as its tribute to mothers who are honored with a dedicated Mothers’ Day celebration every second Sunday of May annually. The sale will be held at BLIMS warehouse along Williams Street in Mandaluyong City.
BLIMS president and CEO Samie Lim said the sale forms part of their promotional initiatives to take advantage of the anticipated increased demand for office and home furniture and furnishings this year, resulting from the boom in the country’s property sector.
“We have seen a lot of construction projects taking place in the last two years and many are about to be finished, so we are offering this sale for those houses, condominium and offices that are about to be finished. Furniture and furnishing come about two years after so this is the right time,†Lim emphasized.
To be offered at the six-day BLIMS Warehouse Sale are sofas, tables, chairs, bed frames, mattresses, cabinets, office desks and chairs, and decors, among others, at up to 70-pecent discount and zero-percent interest for selected credit card transactions.
Acknowledged as the Father of Philippine Franchising and a pillar of the retail industry, Lim is likewise credited for having fathered the annual Mothers’ Day Celebration in the country every month of May.
