New player in elevator industry

MANILA, Philippines - The elevator industry in the Philippines welcomes a new player as SEC Philippines announces its arrival in the market. SEC Philippines, which will operate under the CDC Holdings group of companies, will provide maintenance service and installation of elevators in businesses in the country. The company is headed by Elsie Chua as president, and in partnership with the SEC Elevator Co. Ltd. Japan, one of the leading elevator and maintenance service providers in Japan. This is the first time that the Japanese company will be venturing into business in the Philippines. It has been in operations in Japan for 45 years and differentiates itself by providing products and services that focus on these following propositions: Speedy and Safe response; Energy saving, and; Cost efficient. According to Takao Suzuki, president of SEC Elevator Co., Ltd. Japan, there are 600,000 elevators in operation in Japan and hypes on his company’s capability, through its SEC specialists, to maintain elevators of all types and from every manufacturer all over Japan. “We at SEC see ourselves as experts in this business. Since we have been in operation since the post-war 45 years ago and that gives us the expertise to maintain even the old elevators of any brand.”
