Novare a finalist in Red Herring tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Red Herring has announced the inclusion of Novare Technologies as a finalist for its Top 100 Asia award, a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the Asian business region.

Novare, which is headquartered in Hong Kong but with technology development and resource offices in Manila, is a firm believer of the Filipino talent and ingenuity.

Of this, Novare CEO Myla Villanueva said, “Being a finalist of Red Herring is an affirmation of the work we have put in to showcase the innovative minds of Filipinos. It has always been a dream of ours to exhibit to our neighboring Asian countries our innovation capacity, as well as our world-class and globally competitive software development capabilities.”

The Red Herring editorial team selected the most innovative companies from a pool of hundreds from across Asia. The nominees are evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries.

Novare Technologies has helped develop world-class products for telecommunications companies including Smart’s Netphone and Globe’s systems support infrastructure for new store network. It has also developed products for companies in Israel and the US.

Aside from technology products for telecommunications, Novare is also evangelizing the concept of Banking 2.0, which some local bank have begun to adopt.
