To usher in the season of fiestas, Ginebra San Miguel, an integral part of every Philippine celebration since its inception in 1834, introduced the special edition shrink wrap for its iconic “bilog” bottle initially at the Ati-Atihan and Sinulog festivals held in Aklan and Cebu, respectively, last Jan. 15. This not only provides a fresh look to the pioneering gin brand, but also supports the nation’s campaign to draw in more local and foreign tourists to the innate beauty of the Philippines through its numerous attractions and celebrations.
The bottle, which is a novelty and a collector’s item, is filled with a shower of colors that coat every festivity in the archipelago, with the Masskara Festival of Bacolod and the Ati-Atihan of Kalibo, the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban and the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City, among others prominently displayed.
