MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce is holding a special seminar entitled, “Best Practices in Business Protocol” on Jan. 13, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Edsa Shangrila Hotel, Mandaluyong City. This special program will feature Ambassador Jose Abeto Zaide (Ret), the former chief of protocol of the Department of Foreign Affairs, with 40 years of experience in diplomacy and foreign affairs. Another speaker is Ruy Y. Moreno, vice-chairman of the Center for Global Best Practices and concurrently holds the positions of chairman of the Philippine-Myanmar Business Council, executive director of the International Chamber of Commerce Philippines, and director for operations of the private sector-National Competitiveness Council (2008 to 2010). It will also feature Rizabel Cloma-Santos who will discuss protocol for spouses as she will talk about her experiences and best practices advices in her capacity as the wife of a former chief of protocol of Malacañang and the current ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
