Touch launches cloud computing services

MANILA, Philippines - Local IT firm Touch Solutions Inc. (TSI) officially unveiled the cloud services developed and offered by its Seattle-based partner Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Philippines recently at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.

TSI president Anson Uy said the company’s collaboration with AWS was designed to “take the tech out of the equation” and help make it easier for owners to run their business.

“If you have a business concept and you want to run it, all you need to do is talk to us and we will roll it out for you,” said Uy at the sidelines of the launch.

Uy said services offered by TSI and AWS are suitable for micro, small and medium enterprises as well as big companies that are keen on harnessing the power of cloud computing.

“Cloud computing means putting your computers on the web, putting storage on the web, networking on the web and making sure that it runs smoothly,” he emphasized.

Uy assured that the cloud computing services offered by AWS are secure and reliable.

TSI is currently in talks with a number of big companies in the Philippines that are keen on tapping the technology for their needs.
