MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices (www.cgbp.org) will hold a special seminar titled “Best Practices for Financial Controllers on Feb. 17 & 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the New World Hotel in Makati City.
The event will feature Mary Jane O. Rosales, CPA, CIA who will share her knowledge and extensive experience having spent most of her career handling finance, controllership and risk management functions in Petron Corp. She was the president of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in the Philippines in 2008.
It will also feature Maida B. Bruce, vice president and group controller of the largest infrastructure company in the Philippines - the Metro Pacific Investment Corporation (MPIC). She was formerly the CFO of Strategic Landbank Management Group - Ayala Land Inc. She has held various position as a senior finance professional with over 25 years of solid experience in many industries.
