MANILA, Philippines - Nuvoland has announced plans to enter into the residential resort community development segment through a joint venture with landowners covering a seaside community in Batangas, company president and CEO Rally Martinez said.
The development would cover more than 100 hectares of prime beachfront properties in Batangas that is only two hours from Makati, making it the most accessible and nearest seafront leisure community catering to Metro Manila residents.
Martinez added the masterplan and design being undertaken by a foreign masterplanner shall mimic some of the well known seaside communities located in the Mediterranean with a local and modern twist. The masterplan borrows what works from the past embellished with the modern and functional aesthetics of today.
Martinez added that Nuvoland shall allocate P2 billion for the horizontal and vertical development requirements of the project over the next five years, which includes a marina, a hotel, a sports and recreational complex, and other resort facilities that will transform the property to a true-to-form second home or a retirement home for our local and international buyers.
Construction is expected to start by the first quarter of 2011, once the final agreement is signed between Nuvoland and the landowners.
Nuvoland’s foray into the residential resort community on the heels of its highly successful residential condominium developments in Bonifacio Global City, namely The Infinity and in Libis, Quezon City, through its inner city redevelopment project Nuvocity, is evident of its boutique approach to real estate development. Currently, residential condominium The Aspire@nuvocity is under construction.
Martinez added that its approach to offering the best value to its clients with an emphasis to quality and great location and the best price offering in the market has been the backbone of its many successes in the past five years.
