MANILA, Philippines - Prepaid Smart Bro subscribers may now take advantage of the flexibility of having two affordable ‘unlisurf’ packages to choose from, enabling them to experience unlimited, high-speed Internet surfing at a price that suits their budget and preference.
Smart Broadband Inc. (SBI), the broadband unit of leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, recently announced that it now offers Unlisurf 100, or two days of unlimited Internet access for P100, aside from the original Unlisurf 200 offer of five days of access for only P200.
“We know that broadband subscribers now upload and download content that’s more robust than ever, such as videos, photos and music. While we continuously fortify our networks and optimize available technologies to ensure service quality, we also strive to keep access as affordable as possible, and offering a variety of ‘sachet’ prepaid options is in keeping with this direction,” Smart wireless consumer division head Danilo Mojica said.
Smart also announced that it now serves, through SBI, over 1.32 million broadband subscribers all over the country, about 870,000 of which are on prepaid.
Smart Bro prepaid subscribers can avail of the service via any of three easy ways. While connected to Smart Bro’s nationwide network, simply log on to Web Connect, www.smart.com.ph/connect, and click on the preferred package.
Unlisurf may also be availed through SMS registration via Smart Bro, and the subscriber simply sends UNLISURF 100 or UNLISURF 200 to 2,200. Soon, loading of any Unlisurf package may also be done via top-up from any of Smart’s network of over 1.3 million e-load sellers nationwide.
A one-peso Smart Bro balance must be maintained when availing of any of the UnliSurf packages.
Company officials said the variety and affordability available to its prepaid subscribers reinforce Smart Bro’s leadership position, that of superior speeds with the most advanced mobile broadband technology adopted by Smart, and the widest cellular and broadband networks covering the country’s major cities and municipalities.
