CCAP holds annual confab

MANILA, Philippines - The Cold Chain Association of the Philippines (CCAP), a multi-sectoral group of companies and professional organizations involved in the supply chain of perishable food products, is holding its 8th annual conference at the Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center in Iloilo City on June 10 to 11.

The conference with the theme “Transition Management: Maneuvering in an Era of New Political & International Trade Policies” will highlight the challenges and opportunities in the food industry as a result of the new directions, policies and programs introduced by the incoming political leadership, as well as the impact of the bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements between the Philippines and other countries such as Asean Free Trade Area and Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement on the local food processing sector.

The event will also feature business matching sessions to identify prospective areas for investment in cold chain facilities in Western Visayas.
