MANILA, Philippines - Players in the country’s real estate industry will discuss the newly implemented Real Estate Service Act (RESA) of 2009, during the 5th monthly general membership meeting of the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) with Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, chairman of the newly-created Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRB-RES) under the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) as guest speaker.
The meeting will be held at 12 noon on May 27 at the Grandballroom of the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City. Florentino S. Dulalia Jr., CREBA national president, said Dr. Ong, talk about the draft implementing rules and regulations for the new law. CREBA is the largest umbrella organization of professionals and entities engaged in real estate development, building and construction, technical consultancy, marketing and other related services.
Prior to his appointment by President Arroyo as PRB-RES chairman early this year, Dr. Ong is a highly respected management consultant, educator, journalist, book author and real estate professional, with a degree in law and doctorate in three fields: commerce, business administration and public administration.
