Corporate governance seminar set

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) is holding a special seminar entitled “SEC’s Revised Code of Corporate Governance” on Nov. 13 at the Edsa Shangri-La, Mandaluyong City. The program will feature Justina Fernandez-Callangan’s corporation finance department of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); C.A. Gerard M. Lukban, commission secretary and spokesperson of the SEC; and Rodolfo C. Salazar who has over 30 years in CEO-level positions in multinational companies. He will share his knowledge on how he has successfully implemented corporate governance in companies such as First Pacific, Bayantel, Pepsi Cola, Pfizer, Warner Lambert, and Bristol Myers. This program is accredited by Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP). Lawyers get MCLE credit units. CPAs get CPE credit units.
