MANILA, Philippines - Eufrocina M. Sacdalan-Casasola, director-head revenue executive assistant of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Office of the Commisioner, will discuss mandatory documentary requirements for transfers of real property at a public forum of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Associations (CREBA) at 2 to 5 p.m., April 30 at the Bahia Ballroom, Hotel Intercontinental, Makati City.
This was announced by Dr. Jaime A. Cura, CREBA national president, and VP-internal affairs Avelina P. Acuña. Founded by real estate industry leaders led by Manuel M. Serrano in the early 1970s, CREBA has nationwide chapters and foreign affiliates abroad, including Philippine membership in the International Federation of Real Estate Industry (FIABCI) based in Paris, France. The CREBA International Foundation Inc. (CIFI) headed by Purita R. Soliven is aimed at reaching out to the growing overseas Filipino population almost everywhere in the world.
Sacdalan-Casasola is the vice-chairman of the VAT rulings review committee. She served as former chief of staff of Deputy Commissioner for legal and inspection group Gregorio V. Cabantac; head, BIR rulings review committee; BIR legislative and research committee; chief of staff to three former deputy commissioners of the BIR legal and enforcement group (now legal and inspection group), former deputy commissioners Sixto S. Esquivias, Lilia B. Hefti, and Edmundo Pascual Guevara; and chief, direct taxes section, law division, BIR national office. A frequent lecturer and speaker before various business and sector groups, Sacdalan-Casasola holds a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Sto. Tomas and passed the bar examinations in 1980.
