CRI sets 1st briefing January 30

The CREBA Research Institute (CRI) will hold its first briefing on Perspectives of the Philippine Real Estate Industry Beyond Global Meltdown: Challenges and Opportunities’ at noon of Jan. 30 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City.

This was announced by Florentino S. Dulalia Jr., CRI president, Pedro C. Tario, CRI chairman, and Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, CRI director-general. CRI is a subsidiary of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Associations Inc. (CREBA). Both Dulalia and Tario were former CREBA national presidents.

The briefing will delve into the following main objectives:

1. Asses the effects of the current global economic and financial crisis on the Philippine economy, specifically on the real estate industry.

2. Examine the effects. challenges and opportunities being offered by the current economic dilemma from the perspectives of the government, academe and private companies from the country’s real estate industry.

3. Find ways on how to counteract the downbeat effects of the current global financial turmoil on the real estate industry.
