STI to put up 10 new schools in next 5 years

STI Education Services Group, a leading provider of information and communications technology education in the country, is putting up 10 new schools offering secondary education in the next five years.

STI started as a computer school but has already diversified by offering primary and secondary education as well as other college courses including nursing, education, business and engineering. STI executive vice-president Peter Fernandez said the group is scheduled to open a high school in Quezon Ave. in June.

Fernandez said the group plans to open another high school in Cagayan de Oro City in time for schoolyear 2006-2007.

STI College-Quezon Avenue is now accepting applicants for first and second year high school students, he said.

STI first branched out to secondary education in 2000 when it established its first high school department in BF Resort in Las Piñas. This was followed by another high school department in Rosario, Cavite. – Zinnia dela Peña
