MANILA, Philippines - Nanguna ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) sa pagtulong sa mga kababayan nating nilubog ng matinding pagbaha.
Ayon kay PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, namahagi ang PCSO ng may 100 sako ng bigas, banig at iba pang relief items sa mga local government units ng Quezon City, Pasay City, Bacoor City at iba pang tinamaan ng kalamidad.
“Another 100 sacks of relief goods were donated to ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya program, while medicines were dispatched to the Department of Social Welfare and Development office in Pasay City for their distribution,” wika ni Rojas.
“We expect requests for assistance to come in and we are prepared to attend to these quickly. We also assure the victims directly affected by this calamity who are treated at government hospitals in coordination with PCSO offices that their hospitals bills will be shouldered by PCSO,” dagdag pa ng PCSO general manager.
Ipinahiram din ng PCSO ang bus nito upang magamit na transportasyon ng Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) sa kanilang evacuation operations.
