Mangosong outshines Adlawan in M and M supercross

CEBU, Philippines - Mindanao rider Rhowell ‘Bornok’ Mangosong proved to be too much for Cebuano daredevil Jon Eleazar Adlawan as he ruled the pro open category of the 3rd leg of Man and Machine Supercross Series 2014 last Sunday in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.

Mangosong went neck-and neck with Adlawan during the first phase of the race before he out maneuvered the multi-titled rider in the final lap to win the title.

Another Cebuano rider Jubenile Abellar settled for third place, while veteran Ambo Yaparcon and JB Bacabac rounded up the top five finishers.

Mangosong scored a twinkill after snatching the pro lite title once again edging Adlawan. Chris Bandigan placed third followed by Abellar and Yaparcon at fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Yaparcon bounced back after topping the intermediate class against Bandigan and Jacob Orbe.Jr Gugudan lorded it over in the beginners class as Bandigan finally brings home a title in the novice category.

The rest of the winners were Jason See (open enduro), Jordan Lorena (local enduro), Pepo Rubi (veterans A), Jorlan Bandigan (veterans B), Elton See (veterans C), Shaun Peralta (peewee 50), BJ Pepito (peewee 65), Philip Angelo Leonardo (mini) and Marielle Mae Villafuerte who snared the crown in the womens open.
