MANILA, Philippines — Walo sa elite men’s volleyball teams sa buong mun­do ang hahataw sa third at final week ng Volleyball Nations League (VNL) sa MOA Arena.

Magtutuos ang World No. 13 Netherlands at No. 4 Brazil ngayong alas-5 ng hapon kasunod ang salpukan ng No. 12 Canada at No. 3 Japan sa alas-8:30 ng gabi.

Opisyal na bubuksan nina Presidential son Vincent Marcos at business tycoon/sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan ang Week Three sa pagitan ng dalawang laro.

Dadalo rin sa event sina Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ra­mon Suzara, Senators Pia at Alan Peter Cayetano, Department of Tourism Sec­retary Cristina Frasco at Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richard Bachmann.

Bukas ng alas-3 ng ha­pon ag magkikita ang No. 11 Germany at No. 7 France kasunod ang laban ng No. 5 USA at No. 17 Iran.

Nasa Top 8 ng VNL standings ang France (No. 4), Japan (No. 5), Brazil (No. 6) at Canada (No. 7) sa ilalim ng No. 1 at reigning world champion Italy, No. 2 Slovenia at No. 3 Poland.

“Volleyball has made huge strides in the country in the past few years and we strive to continue to per­form,” sabi ni Suzara.
