MANILA, Philippines — Tiniyak ng Malabon City LGU na maibibigay ang health emergency allowance ng mga health workers at front liners noong kasagsagan ng Covid-19 pandemic kasabay ng tuluy-tuloy nilang koordinasyon sa Department of Health (DOH).
Ayon kay City Health Department Officer-in-Charge Dr. Bernadette Bordador, naisumite na nila sa DOH ang mga dokumento ng listahan ng mga front liners at pre-audited payroll mula 2021-2023
Sa ilalim Republic Act No. 11712 ang health emergency allowance ay ibinibigay sa lahat ng mga health care workers at non-health care workers.
Kabilang sa non- health care workers ay kinabibilangan ng mga contact tracers, mga personnel sa isolation centers, vaccination centers, city government at iba pang health facilities. “Dahil nag-end si Covid for the Philippines as an emergency in July of 2023, so, doon din nag-end si Covid Allowance or HEA. Itong hinihintay ngayon is for some periods of 2021… some periods of 2022, and January to July of 2023. So lahat nung working within health or in the isolation or in the vaccination (sites) or in the office for that time are entitled, nag-iiba lang siya in terms of risk,” Bordador.
Kailangan lamang ng konting pasensiya lalo pat lahat ng LGU at maging ang mga pribadong kompanya ay naghihintay sa allowance.
